Munich Business School has published a new working paper that focuses on the “Practical Application of the Uppsala Internationalization Model – Lessons from 8 Case Studies”.
In the paper, which is based on the thesis of MBA General Management alumnus Kristof Kraemer and is co-authored by his supervisors, MBS lecturers Johannes Ritz and Rafael de Cárdenas, the Uppsala model, a well-known theory for gradual internationalization of businesses, is validated with existing companies such as Daimler and BASF.
For his thesis, Kristof interviewed eight experts from corporate practice on their experiences and learnings from internationalization projects that have been executed in their respective companies.
