As part of an MBS excursion last Friday, 14 MBS students had the opportunity to get to know the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) in Paris. Chiara Butorac, Bachelor student at MBS, reports on this experience:
On February 7, 2020, we, the students of Munich Business School, had the honor of visiting the OECD based in the Parisian castle La Muette. The OECD is an organization for economic cooperation and development and currently has 36 member states. Together with Prof. Dr. Bartholomae, who had organized the excursion, we got a short guided tour through the premises as well as an introduction to the concept of the OECD. We did not only talk about the different areas of the OECD, but also about the career opportunities for Bachelor and Master students. We were able to gain an insight into the OECD’s fields of activity and had the opportunity to ask questions on all areas. The activities of the organisation cover the areas of economy, society, innovation, finance, governance, sustainability and development. The trip to Paris was definitely worthwhile for us and we are happy to have been part of the excursion!
