Great news: The two MBS students of the master’s program Innovation and Entrepreneurship Samantha Mark and Philipp Wohlfart are the winners of the German-speaking region of the Go Green Challenge of the electrical engineering group Schneider Electric! The goal of the global student competition is to identify innovative and bold ideas for a sustainable and digital future in energy management.
The students had the opportunity to participate in this innovation competition as part of the Open & Sustainable Innovation course taught by MBS professor Dr. Anne Tryba. In this course, students traditionally participate in real-life open innovation challenges via the Agorize platform. Since the beginning of the spring term in January 2021, Samantha and Philipp have been working on their idea that now convinced a jury of German-speaking business leaders. As the winning team in the DACH region, the two students now have the opportunity for a paid internship at Schneider Electric as well as professional mentoring. However, the journey is not over yet: as regional winners, Samantha and Philipp will move on to the European final in April to pitch their idea in front of another jury. We are keeping our fingers crossed for this, of course!
Prof. Dr. Anne Tryba, academic director of the master’s program in Innovation and Entrepreneurships at Munich Business School, is also congratulates the students: “Congratulations to Samantha and Philipp on this excellent performance! I am particularly glad to see that their innovative idea contributes to fostering more sustainability!”
