The success story continues: In 2023, the WirtschaftsWoche university ranking once again honors Munich Business School as the most popular private university of applied sciences in the field of business administration among recruiters. This is the fourth time in a row that the university has taken the top position.
Munich is the most popular German city among HR managers for recruiting young professionals – whether in the fields of business administration, economics, law, business informatics, electrical or mechanical engineering. This is shown by the current WirtschaftsWoche University Ranking 2023, in which over 500 HR managers from companies with ten to more than 1,000 employees were asked about their preferences when recruiting new employees. In addition to the large state universities Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität and TU München, Munich Business School (MBS) also benefits from this. For the fourth time in a row, the oldest private university in Bavaria was named the most popular private university of applied sciences in the field of business administration among recruiters. In a nationwide comparison with the state universities of applied sciences, MBS ranks fourth.
Prof. Dr. Stefan Baldi, Dean of Munich Business School, is pleased with this positive result, as in previous years: “In the CHE University Ranking 2023/24, the students already voted us to the top at the beginning of the week. The fact that employers in Germany share this view is the crowning glory and at least as valuable, if not even more so. What could be better than the job market seeing MBS at the top and certifying excellent career prospects for our graduates?”
The WirtschaftsWoche university ranking is carried out annually by the employer branding consultancy Universum. Since information and results provided by the universities themselves are not included in the evaluation, the ranking is considered to be highly independent.
