Munich Business School earns prestigious AACSB accreditation

Accreditation is an important milestone for Munich Business School and confirms the high quality of business education


Munich Business School (MBS) has recently received accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This is an important seal of quality for business schools all over the world. In Germany, fewer than 20 renowned private and state universities belong to the group of AACSB-accredited institutions. Munich Business School is now the latest institution to join this group, thus achieving a significant milestone.

This was followed by four panel discussions to share best practices in the field of The AACSB was founded in 1916 and is the longest established global accrediting association for business schools and the largest educational network in the field of business. Synonymous with the highest standards of quality, AACSB accreditation confirms the pursuit of excellence in business education. This is one reason why less than 6 percent of the world’s schools offering business degree programs hold AACSB business accreditation.

Educational institutions that have received AACSB accreditation have successfully completed a comprehensive evaluation process conducted by deans of leading international business schools against exacting standards. This confirms that they have the necessary resources, expertise and commitment to provide students with a high-quality and forward-looking business education.

Accreditation as a further incentive

Germany’s employers have held Munich Business School graduates in particularly high regard for years, as shown by their top positions in the annual WirtschaftsWoche ranking. The AACSB accreditation also confirms the high academic quality internationally.
