
Jörg Schwitalla brings international experience and vision for the future development of Munich Business School (MBS).
Munich Business School is pleased to announce that Jörg Schwitalla will assume the position of President as of March 1, 2025. He succeeds Dr. rer. pol. Alfred Gossner, who has represented MBS as President to date.
Jörg Schwitalla not only brings extensive experience in the management of companies and organizations, but also a deep connection to the university through his long-standing membership of the advisory board.

Experienced leader with proximity to people
Jörg Schwitalla has more than 30 years of experience in various management roles and consulting services. As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of permitto analytics GmbH, he focuses on the professionalization and application of personality, team and organizational diagnostics. His career is characterized by board positions at well-known companies such as MAN SE, Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG and the Brose Group. He has extensive expertise in the areas of HR, operations and managing transformation processes.
Schwitalla’s diverse supervisory board mandates and positions at international universities underline his global network and international orientation. “I am looking forward to my new role at MBS and am grateful for the trust that the Senate, my colleagues and also the owner Silvia Semidei have placed in me,” he begins. “Together, we will continue to build on the strengths of our renowned university. Even more practical relevance and further international development are two key aspects of this.”
