Dr. Julia Haes

Dr. Julia Haes studied business administration at LMU Munich and California State University San Bernadino and earned her doctorate at the University of St. Gallen on the topic of university brands. At the same time, she played a key role in setting up an international MBA program for (new) media and communications there.

At Freie Universität Berlin, she established cooperations with Chinese universities as part of the Excellence Initiative. She then joined the family-owned Hadron AG, which offers professional training, among other things. At the same time, she founded her own company, Finiens, which offers training and seminars in Germany for Chinese decision-makers. With her latest foundation, the China Institute for German Business, she offers China knowledge and China consulting for German companies. She is co-author of "Hong Kong: Embattled Metropolis", co-host of the podcast "China ungeschminkt" and editor of the China newsletter "Chinapolitan".
